Holds the first Ayala Young Leaders, with 70 participants from all over the country.

2000

The AYL song, “We Are the Chosen Few,” debuts; music and lyrics are by Ma. Jolina Bianca Mallari-Khan (AYL 2000), musical arrangement by Candice Cabutihan-Cipullo (AYL 1999), orchestration by Jeffrey Tarayo (AYL 2000), and sung by Kathy Minoza-Cueson (AYL 2000).

2002

Oung Chanthol, a Ramon Magsaysay Awardee from Cambodia, becomes the only non-Filipino keynote speaker.

2002

Catherine Pabalan is the first AYL Alumna to return as a panelist.
